GALHA offers a vairiety of interesting events, meetings and discussions - and of course organises protests an lobbies on freedom, equality and secular issues.

Very good, very committed. I only regret that I don't live more centrally and have the time and resources to attend more meets.

Tyrone posted a greeting for Michael ORourke

    "Hi Michael,
This event wasn't actually a typical GALHA event, this was actually organised by the Protest the Pope coalition, made up of a number of similar groups such as the NSS, BHA and Central London Humanists. As such it wasn't appropriate for us to promote ourselves. We're back to our regular schedule of monthly events in October, so hope to see you there! Also please join us at the march on September 18th at Hyde Park - look for the GALHA banner.

Alan Trevethan I'm glad we made the effort of battling with the traffic and horrendous road works (We took nearly twice the normal time to travel). It was good to see fellows from Galha, BHA, NSS etc.. I understand the comments about a visable presence.…

James Hayes Great event. Made me so very, very glad I got out of the catholic church and all its revolting lies and deception. The two against the motion clearly are in it deep. Poor sods. And poor anybody else that puts their trust in them....

Michael ORourke I really enjoyed the debate and thought A C Grayling was superb - I thought his motion was infused with humour and intelligence. Peter Tatchell did a fine job backing up the arguement, but as for those catholic boys? Oh dear! So glad I came along.

Martin Waddington Obviously people attended with entrenched positions. I found I was surrounded by fervent Catholics and I noticed they only applauded their own speakers, which seems a little ungracious....

Allan I'm a visitor in London and this was my first GALHA event. I don't know how this meetup actually works. Is it a loose collective of individuals with similar values? Or does the group actually meet up socially after an event like tonight's?...

"This was my first meetup and the GALHA presence was non-existant. I was disappointed as I thought there would have been something to recognise the group by - perhaps I misunderstood how the group operates?…"

Allan posted a greeting for Adam Knowles

"Hi Adam, I thought I saw some stuff about GLBT rights but it looked like it came from the larger humanist groups. I also saw someone I thought might be you, in red cycling gear.
I know I shouldn't be, but it is rather daunting to ask someone if they are a member of the Gay and Lesbian Humanists. That is why I looked out for some signage.
Maybe better luck at the Pope Rally if not before. Looking forward to future events! :)"

Adam Knowles posted a greeting for Allan

"Hi Allan, thanks for coming along. The event yesterday was organised by the Protest The Pope group of which GALHA is one part. Our literature was on the table at the back and a few people were there (including myself) so I'm sorry you weren't able to locate any of us! GALHA is a 30 year old group with a formal Committee. Our events are always to promote Humanism/LGBT rights but it's strong socially too. This weekend around 40 of our members are debunking to a hotel in Brighton. Adam"
