FRIDAY 8TH JANUARY. 7.30PM. GALHA ANNUAL FILM EVENT: THE POWER OF HARMONY. Introduced by Terry Sanderson, President of the National Secular Society.

The power of Harmony, through the personal experiences of a gay men’s chorus right in the heart of the US Bible Belt, take an intimate look at controversial issues of the day: coming out, gay marriage, religious views on homosexuality and gay adoption. Dallas Morning News: “Only the hardest heart will be unmoved by this lovingly crafted and deeply moving documentary”.

    Around 55 people enjoyed this moving film and the socialising afterwards was very enjoyable too.

    Great film. I kind of wish we had more time for group discussion though.

    Excellent film. Needs to be brought to audiences throughout the UK, to those of the LGBT community, to other Humanist groups and the general public at large. As GALHA members we need to be ever more proactive in getting the message spread... Looking forward to future events and further participation.
