Free Thought and Censorship - a talk by Julian Baggini, Editor of the Philosophers' Magazine
Should the right to free speech ever be restricted? Who defines and determines the boundaries of free speech and incitement to hatred? In what circumstances - if any - can censorship be justified?
Julian Baggini is co-founder and editor of the Philosopher’s Magazine, author of several popular books on philosophy, writes for several newspapers and magazines and is a frequent contributor to Radio 4 discussions.
Please note that this is a joint meeting with the South Place Ethical Society (SPES) http://www.ethicalsoc...
Hi Ali,
It will definitely be obvious who GALHA is as this is a GALHA-organised meeting (as opposed to the Pope events, which were organised by a few organisations). Some GALHA members will be wearing GALHA t-shirts as well. Look forward to seeing you!
Will it be made obvious who is GALHA so we can find one another? Not been to any events with this group so don't know what to expect (plus I need to know who I'm drinking with after!).
