FRIDAY 14TH MAY. 7.30P.M. SPECIAL IDAHO MEETING. BEWITCHED IN NIGERIA: LGBT Rights, Religion and Superstition.

To mark the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia, we are delighted to welcome Leo Igwe, the West Africa representative of IHEU and the Director of Nigeria’s “Centre for Inquiry”. Leo will talk about his experiences of fighting for human rights in Nigeria, including his recent confrontation with witchcraft.

IDAHO’S campaign over the next two years will be to form an international alliance to put an end to homophobia and transphobic violence based on religious beliefs

We will be organising other events over the IDAHO weekend with our kindred societies. (Details will be published on www.galha.org as soon as they are confirmed).
